Goodfield Elementary's Costume Parade

Book Tasting Bistro

Mrs. Bardwell's First Grade class recently had a Book Tasting Bistro.  The class was decorated like a restaurant and the children were the chefs.  They "tasted" different genres of books to see which they liked (ex. biographies, realistic fiction, mystery, and non-fiction).

Fire Drill

Goodfield Elementary School held a fire drill this past Friday.  The kids did a great job of getting out of the building quickly and quietly.  Members of the Eureka-Goodfield Fire Protection District talked to our students after the drill.  Thank you to all of the volunteers for the very important job that you do.

Apple Picking

Mrs. Bardwell's 1st Grade class went apple picking recently.  They have been studying about the life cycle of an apple and one of our neighbors, Mrs. Fiers, allowed the students to come down and pick an apple off of her tree.  Thank you, Mrs. Fiers!

Living History Museum

Mrs. Bachman's 4th Grade class participated in a Living History Museum for parents and fellow classmates.  We learned about Sacagawea, Clara Barton, Thomas Edison and Milton Hershey, just to name a few.

Ugly Sweater Contest at Goodfield

Goodfield Elementary School teachers and staff participated in our 1st Annual Ugly Sweater Contest. The students got to vote on who wore the ugliest sweater. Miss Rypkema, 2nd Grade Teacher, was voted the winner!
