Goodfield News

Goodfield Elementary's 3rd and 4th grade classes presented Fractured Fairy Tales for the students and parents recently.  The plays included "Live - Fairy Tale News", "Once Upon a 100 Years Nap", and "Cinderella Outgrows the Glass Slipper".  Everyone did a wonderful job!

This year, Mr. Lafferty agreed to catch and kiss a pig if the students met their Jump Rope for Heart goal.  Although Mr. Lafferty made the deal with the 4th grade class, it was actually Mr. Berardi who stepped in to catch and kiss a pig.

Mrs. Logue's 1st Grade recently went on a field trip to the Discovery Museum and then took an Amtrak train ride to Lincoln.

Mrs. Williams' 2nd Grade class read “The Three Little Javelinas”, a spin off of “The Three Little Pigs”.  Mrs. H. brought in two piglets from their farm. She shared facts about pigs & read to the students.

Goodfield and Congerville 3rd grade students had a visit from Chuck Collins as part of their weather unit.  Catch them on the news at 5:00 and 6:00 and listen for the jokes they told him.

Mrs. Bachman's 4th Grade class recently completed the Junior Achievement program.  A huge thank you to Mr. Josh Kuntz for leading the class.

Third grade finished their final lesson of Junior Achievement.  They built their city based on what they have learned about businesses and budgeting.  Our class has appreciated the lessons Mr. Justin has shared with us.
